Extrusion Process

Profile extrusion is a process in which thermoplastic materials are melted or softened, formed in a die and cooled into a shape. Typically this shape is consistent down the length of the extrusion line.

Profile extrusion is as more art than science - there are many variables in this process which can affect the part. One of the variables is material - our company has strived to become an extruder who runs materials that are needed for the function of the part, rather than focusing on materials that we have already run.
